Raymond L. Leung, CPA

Ray has over 35 years of personal and corporate income tax and financial consulting experience with a special emphasis in gift and estate tax.  Ray began his career in the tax department at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then worked at Cadence Design Systems prior to starting his own practice.

Ray’s focus is practice development and providing consulting services to many closely-held businesses and their owners as well as high net-worth individuals and their families.  He also advises his clients in the areas of compensation, stock options and founders’ stock planning, and taxation of U.S. and foreign investments.

Ray graduated from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, receiving a B.S. Degree in Accounting and Finance. Ray also received an M.S. Degree in Taxation from California State University East Bay.

Mei M. Louie, CPA

Mei has over 35 years of combined experience in public accounting and private industry, including tax and audit experience, as well as industry accounting and finance experience.  Prior to returning to public accounting and joining us in 2001, she held various positions as Reporting Manager at Bank of America and Treasury Manager at Accountants, Inc.

Mei is in charge of tax compliance, accounting, and systems consulting services.  Her clients include professional services, start-up businesses, high net worth individuals, family limited partnerships and trusts, and charitable remainder trusts.  She is also in charge of our on-going effort to improve client services and automate office operations.

Mei received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University.

Shirley K. Ip, CPA

Shirley has over 35 years of corporate and public accounting tax experience managing federal and state income tax compliance and planning functions of multinational corporations. She has held Tax Manager Positions at Bank of America and Thomas Weisel Partners Group. Prior to that, Shirley was a Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers providing a variety of tax services to clients that ranged from international companies to high net worth individuals.

Shirley joined the firm in January, 2008. Shirley services a broad range of clients including corporations, real estate partnerships, individuals, trusts and estates. She is also in charge of our internal quality control and staff technical training.

Shirley received an M.S. Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a B.S. Degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University.

Johnny L. Wong, CPA

Johnny has over 35 years of accounting and tax experience. He was a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte & Touche before he and Ray co-founded the predecessor firm (Leung, Wong & Associates) in 1994. He spent a brief period at one of the firm’s long-time clients before rejoining the firm in 2011.

Johnny is in charge of tax compliance and accounting services to our business clients with emphasis on real estate partnerships and closely-held entities. He has extensive experience in partnership and corporate formation, operations and dissolution. His clients range from start-up businesses to high-net worth individuals and their families.

Johnny is a graduate of the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, receiving his B.S. Degree in Accounting and Finance.
